Bio

Dave Young is a musician from Vancouver, BC.  He has played with Devin Townsend (Devin Townsend Band, Devin Townsend Project) for over a decade, first on keys and currently on guitar.  As a member of Devin's band, Dave has toured extensively, playing everywhere from South America to Australia as well as multiple tours of Europe and North America.
As well as playing for Devin, Dave has his own solo project called Auger, and is a member of many other projects including REGAL, Ten Ways, Evenlight, and Terror Syndrome.  He has also done session work both live and in the studio for bands such as The Heavils, Misery Signals, Strapping Young Lad, The Matinee, The Katherines and Contrive.
Dave has a broad range of musical tastes from ambient to rock to electronic and metal, and combines all of these influences into his playing.  The Graph Tech Ghost acousti-phonic system is a huge part of his live sound and allows him to combine an amazing sounding acoustic with his electric sounds for a huge dynamic range.
