Upgrading to a TUSQ or NuBone XB nut can make a world of difference in the performance of your Uke.

Our harmonically rich material will make the open strings sing, and the perfectly shaped string slots will help you easily get in tune and stay there.

When you drop a plastic or bone nut on a table it lands with a dull plunk. TUSQ and NuBone XB sound like tuning forks or wind chimes.

Musical components = a more musical instrument. Read more about materials and the right model for you.

Ukes made with laminated wood tops often lack a bit of oomph in the bass response. We’ve specially formulated our NuBone XB material to compensate for this to help your uke project like a much bigger beast.

TUSQ is our harmonically rich, premium material that makes every frequency in the sonic spectrum SING.

Installing a TUSQ saddle will make the biggest tonal impact to your uke

Three Unique Materials

to make your ukulele great!

TUSQ produces more harmonics in the mid and upper range of the guitars. TUSQ nuts, saddles and bridge pins have harmonically rich tone, without the inconsistency found in ivory, bone or other natural materials. Bone and Ivory have hard and soft spots (grain) throughout each piece, hampering

NuBone XB is specially formulated to increase the volume and enhance low end harmonics.  Ideal for small bodied guitars, laminated wood guitars and low to mid-priced ukuleles- any instrument that needs more bass response.

Black TUSQ XL is permanently lubricated for improved tuning stability, plus the harmonic performance of TUSQ. These precision engineered nuts are made with a specially formulated material which couples the strings vibration to the neck and brings out the hidden harmonics and richness in every note.

Kelly Lemieux Buckcherry

"Thanks so much for the String Saver Saddles. I have them on my stage guitars and this past summer while touring with The Guess Who, I never broke one string! I like to leave my strings on indefinitely, I happen to like "dead" strings, as they give me more sustain and help me get 'my sound' so Graph Tech is in my loop forever. Thanks for the great product; it's one that's long overdue for the axemen of the world."
