I bought without measuring after inquiring about an Epiphone Thunderbird. Its nearly perfect, but just slightly narrower where you can feel some millimeter of so of the neck that was previously covered by the original nut.
But it works, fits, and matches the original almost exact. Its a close enough match that i'm satisfied.

Fit perfectly on the bass I intended to install it on. Was replacing one that had string slots cut too deep, which caused rattling at the first fret. Problem solved with the one I purchased.

Unusable on my bass. width was okay but I would have to place shims underneath to make it work. It was not tall enough.
