The PQ-9025-00 is a 1/4" thick blank TUSQ acoustic slab.

It is a great option for someone who wants to custom shape a new saddle. A lot of the work is already done for you.

The PQ-9025-00 is also available in a convenient luthier 10-pack (LQ-9025-10)

 

TUSQ nuts and saddles have rich tones without the inconsistency found in ivory, bone, and other natural materials. Bone and ivory have hard and soft spots (grain) throughout each piece, hampering the consistent transfer of vibrations to the guitar top. TUSQ nuts, saddles, and bridge pins are designed to transfer the right frequencies more efficiently from the string to the guitar body.

    A new Compensated saddle

    Works very nicely. Easy to shape. Was able to stain it black. Is it noticeably better sound wise than the phenolic I was using? Perhaps but not dramatic.

    Exploring your products on my 23-string creations

    The brightness/resonance is much increased as I experiment with TUSQ (PQ-9025-00) for nut/saddle on my 23-string instruments. I've an interest in your Ratio10 products and would like more specs then I can find online . . . and I want to be convinced that they are worth the investment. Best to you and team 🙏🏽
