From virtually out of nowhere, Pao burst onto the local jazz scene armed with nothing but his tasty, bop influenced chops, and a smile on his face. His angular, rapid fire lines, delivered with characteristic composure even at blistering tempos, led him to be dubbed "Mr. Swiss Time" by his peers.
