Bone and ivory have hard and soft spots (grain) throughout each piece, hampering the consistent transfer of vibrations to the guitar top. This nut is a good fit for my Yamaha APXT2 guitar. I replaced the urea nut with this TUSQ nut.
This should be able to fit most other Yamaha acoustics with 15-16" radius. The nut height and slots makes for low action at the first few frets close to the nut.
Appreciate the TUSQ XL material for avoiding friction "pings" during tuning of guitar strings. Makes tuning easier.

This Tusq nut is fabulous as always. The Tusq and Tusq XL are a standard go to for most any guitar I buy. And that is many ! I love when everything is Tusq on an acoustic. It DEFINITELY makes a difference !
