What is the Difference in TUSQ Materials?

TUSQ

TUSQ nuts have a rich tone without the inconsistency found in ivory, bone, and other natural materials. Bone and ivory have hard and soft spots (grain) throughout each piece, hampering the consistent transfer of vibrations to the guitar top.     Great product but a whole month shipping for a nut?

    Graphics product is great no complaints whatsoever on quality I r performance, but my order was placed on 6/24, and I didn't receive it until 7/19! I realize its technically international shipping but this nut could have been dropped in an envelope and sent on its way, instead it was sent through customs with a much larger order and broken down by usps. How do I know c this you ask? I work for usps. Even when your shipping option says 5-7 days ok. But 4 whole weeks is ridiculous.

    Thanks Alfred, and sorry about the shipping delay on that nut... 4 weeks is way too long, especially when you're waiting to get back to playing! You're absolutely right that something that small should move much faster through the system. We've been working on improving our international shipping processes to avoid those customs bottlenecks that can really slow things down.     TUSQ XL Is All I Ever Use!

    GraphTech makes an outstanding product line. I've been installing TUSQ XL nuts on all my Fender guitars for years now. They're reliable, they sound great and the lubrication is built right into the product. Plus they're easy to shape and install. Do yourself and your guitar a favor and check out their Ratio tuners, which are a godsend. And their string trees, too! GraphTech isn't the cheapest solution out there but their quality is undeniable.

    Model 5043-00 Nut Slotted R12 L42.88mm . Stewmac Telecaster kit.

    only needed to sand the sides to fit the nut slot on neck ! I didnt need to adjust nut, perfect string hight.

    trees work great.

    better sustain for me. I will buy this for my other guitars. Thank You.
