What is the Difference in TUSQ Materials?
TUSQ
TUSQ nuts have a rich tone without the inconsistency found in ivory, bone, and other natural materials. Bone and ivory have hard and soft spots (grain) throughout each piece, hampering the consistent transfer of vibrations to the guitar top. I was having dead notes and fair at best tone with my Ibanez J custom. This nut not only got rid of the locking nut it gave me ultimate sustain, excellent tone and got rid of my dead notes on the fretboard. I am very pleased with this nut I would recommend this to everyone that uses Floyd Rose or locking nuts. What a game changer!! Thank you
