What is the Difference in TUSQ Materials?

TUSQ

TUSQ nuts have a rich tone without the inconsistency found in ivory, bone, and other natural materials. Bone and ivory have hard and soft spots (grain) throughout each piece, hampering the consistent transfer of vibrations to the guitar top. TUSQ nuts are designed to transfer the right frequencies more efficiently from the string to the guitar body.

    Great product, very slow to get it shipped.

    Product fit my Jazz bass perfectly and it sounds incredible now. My only concern was that it took a very long time to ship. I ordered it on November 3rd, 2025 and it did not leave your premises until November 11th. I caused a one day delay myself by asking about the cost, but there was no delay in me responding. I just don't think this was accetable. I paid a huge amount for shipping and for it to take that long to ship is completely unreasonable.

    Thanks for your comments and glad to hear our TUSQ Nut is working as expected. As we are located in Vancouver, Canada, there has been some changes in how we have to deal with the border/customs issues. Your order was caught up in the changeover to a new carrier for us. Everything should be smooth sailing from here on, as long as things don't change. It was a learning curve for us, but I think we have all the issues well under control.
