Bone and ivory have hard and soft spots (grain) throughout each piece, hampering the consistent transfer of vibrations to the guitar top. Working on a Gibson Blues Hawk (Tele type), the string spacing was perfect. Overall length could have been .050+ longer, and overall height .030+. I'm happy and so is might client. Unrelated.....11 days shipping time from Canada to US a bit much. Three days in LA and 2-3 in the local post office was off no help.
