Jonathan Craven

Jonathan Craven is a guitarist for UK progressive metallers LIQUID SKY. Formed in 2000, LIQUID SKY first gained attention with their self-released EPs “Adrenochrome” (2001) and “Nightfall” (2003) and album “Bloodline” (2004). These releases helped the band develop and solidify a reputation as Britain’s best-kept metal secret. Building on the success of their previous releases and a wave of popular support, 2008 saw the band unleash a brand-new album (and first the INSOMNIA MEDIA label) entitled “Identity”.

With a sound more akin to Swedish metal than European operatic metal bands, LIQUID SKY are at the cutting-edge and embody the new breed of metal musicians; intense, powerful and ready to make music you will always remember.

Jonathan uses Ibanez guitars equipped with Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL nuts.

“The Black TUSQ XL nuts give amazing tuning stability. They allow me to play hard and stay absolutely in tune all the time!” - Jonathan Craven
