What is the Difference in TUSQ Materials?
TUSQ
TUSQ nuts have a rich tone without the inconsistency found in ivory, bone, and other natural materials. Bone and ivory have hard and soft spots (grain) throughout each piece, hampering the consistent transfer of vibrations to the guitar top. The string spacing did not work for me the way I thought is would. Other that, the sound of the instrument is great.....so much better than the Urea, that is installed on Yamaha acoustic guitars.
