I've been a GraphTech customer for decades, going back to self-lubricating string saddles for my Tele in the 80's, and of course got in line to try out TUSQ bridge pins, saddles and nuts as soon as you introduced them. It's all we use -- and we're on the road 30 weeks out of the year, so reliability is paramount. We never have to worry about dead spots, weak spots or any of the inconsistencies (or expense) of organic material, fossilised or otherwise. Tone and sustain is consistent.
